Gone Baby Gone

Hilary Swank, Clint Eastwood, and Morgan Freeman. Holy moly, I didn't expect that.

Master and Commander

I don't write down every movie I see, even though I think I'd like to. I've caught parts of Master and Commander with Russel Crowe a couple of times in pieces on television before, but last week I got to see the whole thing. Really well done feel. I loved the music, and even the naturalist aspects.

Broken Trail

This is the first time I've ever seen this movie in full. Even though I've seen parts of it before, it's definitely worth seeing again. Some great Robert Duvall quotes that I'd like to note if I ever see it again.

Karol, The Man who become Pope.

Quality film on the life of Pope John Paul the 2nd, showing a more in depth view of the man, the Pope, and his spiritual battles than even most Catholics would be aware. Very quote-able film. I'd love to see it, or other like it again. Made in 2005.

Legion

An interesting perspective. Definitely worth seeing. I'm getting more interested in movies that you can take something away from, that teaches you something, expands your horizons, rather than just entertains with special effects, and large doses of suspended disbelief.

The Surragates

Really enjoyed seeing all the familiar places in Boston and Lynn where a lot of the chase scenes were filmed.

The Departed

I thought it was alright. Glad I finally saw it. My favorite part was seeing all the familiar places in the scenes.

Planet of the Apes

Caught this oldie today. I don't think I've seen in since the 1980's. I was surprised to see that being released in 1968 it was even older than me.

List

I haven't posted here for quite a while. Life's been busy, but I miss keeping track of the movies I've seen lately.

I did catch both Transformers, and GI Joe in the theater.

The other day I watched this day movie titled, "The Nest," ... very French.

Re-watched half of The Guardian again; first saw in the theater in 2006 or so.
